Sweden Songs is an independent music publishing company founded by Keith Almgren. He is celebrating his 30th
anniversity in the Swedish music nusiness (2009).
The publihing company includes Marilinn music (which works with childrens music) and Sweden Songs also have a
split- publishing administrating collaboration with Sue Songs, Razzia Music, Maple Music and Merion Songs.
Sweden Songs primarily working with songplugging but also as A&R towards record companies. Sweden Songs
has his own labels primarily for digital promotion, but also a joint venture with Tailor Maid label, who also
offer high quality services within recording, mixing, mastering and music composition.
The publishing company represents a wide range and controls titles from Pop, Rock, Country music, contrbutions to
the Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden and Finland, arrangements of Birger Sjöberg´s "Little Paris", the signature
melody to Swedish P3/P4 "Nightlife" by Tore Sigvardson and Janne Lunden, to children carols and arrangements
by Albioni Adagio and Suite by John Sebastian bach, but also international songs ny collaborations with a German
Publishing compant and with Sue Songs, Razzia Music, Maple Music and Merion Songs.
Sweden Songs was founded by Keith Almgren after 5 years at Scandinavian Songs. Earlier he founded
KA Musikproduktion which was sold and today is owned by Scandinavian Songs (nowadays BMG Rights Management
(Scandinavia) AB. Keith Almgren has a solid background and is not only publisher but also lyricist and composer
with over 1300 titles written by him in the register of Stim. He has also worked at Stim/ncb, record company
(Sonet), music publishing company (Scandinavian Songs), at the record companies distribution branch, in record
shop, as manager, artist coach and freelance music writer and readio presenter. Keith has worked at Fryshuset´s
music activity and now he teaches music students in music bransch knowledge.
Keith Almgren has for example participated many times with several songs in the Swedish part of the Eurovision
Song Contest as songwriter and music publisher. He wrote the lyrics "ABC" for Anna Book 1986 and "Jag har en
dröm" (I have a dream) for Baden Baden. 1999 he participated (Scandinavian Songs) for "Tusen och en natt"
(Take me to your heaven) and won the Swedish contest with Charlotte Nilsson (who also won the European Song
Contest) and for Roger Pontare. 2000 Keith participated once again in the Swedish Song Contest as publisher
(Javiera and Pontare) and won the contest for the second year in row. He was part of the Swedish delegation
of the European Song Contest in the Globe in Stockholm. He also participated as publisher in the Swedish Song
Contest 1992, 2002 and 2010, as a publisher in the Finnish Song Contest (2004), and as a publisher has the
publishing rights for two songs in Finnish Euroviisat Finland (2002), and publisher and songwriter in the Swedish
Schlager Championship in TV3 1994.
Sweden Songs has also a co- publishing adminstrating collaboration with Sue Songs, Razzia Music, Maple Music
for the song "Show me heaven" in the Swedish Song Contest 2009, one other song (Sue Songs/Razzia Music)
in the Finnish song contest (2002) and the disqualify song "Åt helvete för sent" (Susie Päivärinta, Sue Songs (co-
publishing with EMI Music Publ. (Mårten and Lina Eriksson) with Sara Löfgren in the Swedish Song Contest 2010.
